Anti-Rabies Drive in Antipolo

To protect people in Antipolo, the Agrivet office of the City Hall under its OIC Dr. Hospicio Timbol launches a year-long anti-rabies campaign to help get rid of rabies in Antipolo, through the continuous vaccination of dogs around the city.

In addition, an information dissemination campaign is underway, aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership.

This continuous program is done every Friday in the Agrivet Office of Antipolo. All pet owners are encouraged and invite4d to bring in their pets (not just dogs) for vaccination. De-worming services are also available, according to Dr. Ricky Cruz of City Vet.

About 84 dogs have been vaccinated. This number is expected to increase as more people become aware of this health and safety program, whose main goal is to protect and enhance the well-being of people living in Antipolo.
