Every year, the month of May marks a rather busy but exciting in Antipolo. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims flock to Antipolo City to visit Nuestra Señora dela Paz y Buen Viaje and hear mass in the famous church.

In preparation for this influx of visitors, Mayor Vic Sumulong presented the following plans…

Traffic is re-routed via a new one-way traffic routing scheme. In fact, dry runs were made in coordination with the various transport groups in Antipolo, so that people can get used to the new routes and thus get to their destinations safely and much more quickly.

The Rizal Park is also being completed in time for the May-time festivities. People can drop by and relax in the park, as well as enjoy the entertainment programs.
