In addition, an information dissemination campaign is underway, aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership.

This continuous program is done every Friday in the Agrivet Office of Antipolo. All pet owners are encouraged and invite4d to bring in their pets (not just dogs) for vaccination. De-worming services are also available, according to Dr. Ricky Cruz of City Vet.

About 84 dogs have been vaccinated. This number is expected to increase as more people become aware of this health and safety program, whose main goal is to protect and enhance the well-being of people living in Antipolo.

Mayor Vic Sumulong offers this free workshop as a public service to the people of Antipolo. The free, updated legal information will prove useful to those interested in overseas opportunities.

Crispin Aranda, Executive Director of the Immigrant Visa Center and producer of Amerika Atbp., the first and only interactive weekly show on visas and migration to the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and Europe, will be the main speaker during the workshop.

Traffic is re-routed via a new one-way traffic routing scheme. In fact, dry runs were made in coordination with the various transport groups in Antipolo, so that people can get used to the new routes and thus get to their destinations safely and much more quickly.

The Rizal Park is also being completed in time for the May-time festivities. People can drop by and relax in the park, as well as enjoy the entertainment programs.

If you are going to different Antipolo properties such as St. Gabriel Heights or St. Alexandra Estates, then be assured that the traffic rules have not been changed. This means public transportation drivers can easily get you to your home in the Avida Land community in Antipolo.

Here’s a local tip: If you’re getting a ride near Shopwise Antipolo, tell the tricycle driver you want to go to “Avida” intead of “St. Gabriel”, because that’s how they can easily recognize the place. Afterall, the main entrance gate of the Avida Land community in Antipolo clearly shows “Avida”, and that’s how tricycle and jeepney drivers refer to the place.

If you prefer to look like a newcomer, then go ahead and say “Sa St. Gabriel po.” But if you want to come across as a confident resident of Antipolo, then just say: “Sa Avida po.”

Avida Land is an Ayala Land company, and it shows, particularly in the quality of the houses. In addition, the location is perfect because you are just a few minutes away from the Antipolo church, Shopwise, several schools in Antipolo, the Unciano Medical Hospital, Hinulugang Taktak, and various resorts.
